Bernice L. Morris, 90, of Owensboro, died Friday, April 11, 2003 in Owensboro.

The Hancock County native was secretary for Wallace Damron for 40 years, graduated from OHS in 1930, where she was active in the French and Latin Clubs and a four year honor roll member, a hospital volunteer during WW II, a member of Settle Memorial, and an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Morris of Owensboro, two nephews and two nieces.

Services are at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the animal care organization of ones choice.
