Bernard H. Boone

Mr. Bernard H. Boone, age 91 , formerly of Pleasant Ridge, Kentucky, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Professional Healthcare Center in Hartford, Kentucky. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Church of God. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Boone's wife, Ona preceeded him in death on September 9, 1996. He also had a son, Harold Boone who preceeded him in death on January 18, 1986. He is survived by five sons, Delbert G.of Hartford, James B., Reban R. , and Charles B., all of Utica, and Jackie H. Boone of Whitesville. Two daughters, Jean Schroader of Masonville, and Linda Finley of Pleasant Ridge,survive, along with a step-brother, Van B. Logsdon of Whitesville, and two sisters, Lucille Trodglen of Owensboro, and Virginia Layman, of Philpot. There are 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services wioll be held for Mr. Boone, Tuesday, March 5th at 2:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Friends may call at Glenn Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, or after 9 a.m. Tuesday, until the funeral hour.
