Berna Martin Allen

Berna Martin Allen, 78, of 5868 Highway 764, Bells Run, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2006, at her home. She was born in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late Thomas & Ozena Martin. She was retired from the General Electric Co., after 41 years and was a member of Bells Run Baptist Church. She loved arranging all types of flowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Allen in 1986, four sisters, Dorothy Grady, Winnie Louise Whitehouse, Marianna Howe, and Marian Fay Martin, and a brother, Darrell Thomas Whitehouse.

Surviving are two sisters, Frances Whitehouse of Owensboro and Martha Johnson of Utica, and several nieces & nephews.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, March 23, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
