Bennie Ray Arnold

Bennie Ray Arnold, 59, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Daviess County on May 19, 1947 to the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Wellman Arnold, Mr. Arnold was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and retired from ALCOA Aluminum in 2001. He was a 1965 graduate of Daviess County High School; coached Eastern Little League Baseball for 25 years; and enjoyed golf, gardening and especially playing with his six grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julia (Judy) Moseley Arnold; sons and daughters-in-law; Jeff and Rhonda Arnold, Ryan and Jenni Arnold, and Mark Arnold all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Tori Arnold, Katelynn Arnold, Isaac Arnold, Elijah Arnold, Jameson Arnold, and Jackson Arnold; a sister, Judy Adams of Owensboro; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky Phillips, Debbie Moseley, and Joe and Terry Moseley all of Owensboro; and seven nieces and nephews.

Services are 12 Noon Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. Monday and after 9 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home where prayers will be at 6 P.M. Monday.
