Benita L. Sutton

Benita L. Sutton, 56, of Owensboro, passed away July 27, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Lendle Ray Stuart, and Joyce Joines Stuart on May 22, 1958. Benita graduated from Daviess County High School in 1976. She worked at Sutton Trucking and was a cashier at Walmart before becoming disabled. Benita enjoyed many things. She enjoyed communicating through Facebook, talking to friends, spending time with her dog "J.J." and enjoyed camping and four-wheeling. She took pride in her work and loved her position at Walmart. Benita had a passion for teaching Bible School at her home church, First General Baptist, and loved spending time with her family.

Benita was preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Sutton; mother, Joyce Stuart; son, Brandon Sutton and his fianc Celsey Thompson; brother Keith Stuart; mother-in-law, Alice Sutton; brother-in-law, Kevin Sutton; her Ohio family, and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation will be 2-8PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 and again Wednesday at 9AM until the time of service at 10AM. All will be held at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, and the American Heart Association.
