Becky M. Coffman

Becky McQueen Coffman, 58, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System.

Becky was born in Owensboro to the late Gene and Betty Jo McQueen.

She was a 1971 graduate of Owensboro High School before attending Brescia College and Owensboro Community College.

Becky retired from Owensboro Municipal Utilities after 28 years of service. She had also been employed part time at the Messenger-Inquirer.

Becky enjoyed gardening, crafts, reading and her Cherokee Indian heritage.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Jerry Roger Coffman in 1998.

Becky is survived by two daughters, Sarah Coffman (Francisco De Leon) and Misty Coffman (Audra Ricke), all of Owensboro; a grandson, Clay Coffman; her companion, John Dodson and many dear friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday April 19, 2012 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky 3419 Wathen's Crossing Owensboro, KY 42301.
