Beatrice H. Moody, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 3,2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born August 2, 1929 in Daviess Co. to the late William and Minnie Sue Barber Havener. Beatrice had worked as a nurse's assistant and a beautician and was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Also preceding her in death was her five brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Moody Benningfield and husband William of Owensboro and Susan Whitaker and husband John of Shelby, N.C., her son, Roger Dale Moody and wife Belinda of Masonville, seven grandchildren, Anna Nixon, Cindy (Jeff) Payne, Jennifer (Nathan) Johnson, Alan Whitaker, Tammy Cash, Kim (Steven) Crouch, and Ryan Moody, and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
