Beatrice Zoglmann Lennox

Beatrice "Bea" Zoglmann Lennox, 76, of Owensboro, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Wellington Parc. Bea was born January 18, 1934 in Daviess County to the late Robert and Anna Mae (Blackford) Zoglmann. She attended St. Francis Academy and Owensboro Catholic High and Brescia College. She worked for Western Kentucky Gas and retired from Atmos Energy. Bea was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild. An active volunteer, Bea was instrumental in organizing Hospice of Ohio Valley ,now Hospice of Western Kentucky, and helped organize the Soup Kitchen at St. Stephen Cathedral, did hospital visitation, enjoyed talking with people, and working with flowers. Her husband, Jon W. Lennox, preceded her in death in 2008.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday January 20, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church with visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until services. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky or to the Soup Kitchen.
