Beatrice Juanita Cornelius

Beatrice Juanita Cornelius, 88, of 3117 Daviess Street, Owensboro, died Monday, January 22, 2008 at her home. The Russellville native was born to the late Charles and Myrtle (Persley) Scott. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Her husband Charles Harrison Cornelius preceded her in death as well as a son Terrell Cornelius and daughter in law, Sandy Cornelius, and a great-grandson, Dylan Cornelius.

Surviving are a son; Boyce Cornelius and his partner, Sue Lester of Philpot, daughter; Barbara (Billy) Bullington-Clark of Owensboro, sons; Roger (Connie) Cornelius of Lewisport, Ky., and Richard Cornelius of Louisville, one sister; Margaret Henry of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday, January 25, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Shouse officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice Association Memorial Fund.
