Barry Lee Huff

Barry Lee Huff, 46, of Owensboro passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home. Born in Lexington on January 29, 1962, Mr. Huff worked in construction for several years; was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church; and enjoyed fishing, football, basketball, and arrowhead hunting. His special joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Napper Fox; a brother, Bobby Ray Huff; and his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Maxine Napper.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jill Newman Huff; daughters, Leeann Huff (and Tommy Swafford) of Cannelton, IN, Larae Huff (and Aaron Ziehr) of Tell City, IN, Misty (and Joey) Newton and Marla Huff of Owensboro; his father, Bobby Huff (and Rose Conroy) of Montgomery, NY; grandchildren, Tori Huff, Ivan Huff, Lynzie Huff, Jesse Huff, Wesley Newton, Jacob Newton, Morgan Newton, Madison Newton, and Jaelynn Huff; and a sister, Shari (and Steve) Chase of Canton, GA.

Services are 12 noon Monday, December 29, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 and after 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
