Barbara Carolyn Worthington

Barbara Carolyn Worthington, 71, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Daviess County to the late Virgil and Hazel Howard Boling. Barbara was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. She loved flowers, had a passion for shopping and enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren. Barbara loved life, she worked hard, played hard and lived every moment to its fullest with her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pongo, by her side.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wm. Ranson Worthington and her siblings, Jerry Lynn Boling and Katie Spurrier.

Survivors include her son, Steven Ford and his wife Angie of Philpot; daughters; Shelly Richeson and her husband Danny of Utica and Stacy Dunn and her husband Larry of Owensboro; grandchildren, Shelby Ford (Anna Claire), Devin Ford, Bryan Ford, Brittany Richeson Woolverton (Lance), Ryan Richeson, Trevor Dunn and Brooke Dunn; siblings, Darlene Barnett of Owensboro and Virgil Boling (Charlene) of Hartford; and step-children, Wm. Ranson Worthington, Jr., Wm. Guy Worthington (Brenda) and Gayle Vanover (Denny) all of Utica

Services will be at Noon on Saturday at Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery.
