Barbara Leibfreid Roach

Barbara Leibfreid Roach, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late William & Verna Mae Stewart Leibfreid. She was retired from S. W. Anderson Department Store and was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, and traveling, especially her trips she made to Hawaii and to Greece and Italy and loved vacationing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Roach on December 29, 1997 and her daughter, Janice Sue Gaddis on November 25, 1997.

Surviving is her son and his wife, Tony Harold & Celia Roach of Owensboro, her grandchildren, Jennifer Roach, Craig Roach, Keith and wife Abbey Roach, Tim and wife Barbara Gaddis, Cary and wife Debbie Gaddis, Billy Joe and wife Robin Gaddis, and Tammy and husband Tony Bryant, great grandchildren, Tim Gaddis, Jr., Josh Gaddis, Michael Gaddis, Trae, Chelsea, and Brennen Gaddis, and Hope & Justin Stroud, two brothers, Donald Leibfreid of Owensboro and Jimmy Leibfreid of Dade City, Fla., and a sister, Betsy Guffey of Owensboro.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, June 8, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
