Barbara Ann Lindsey, 62, of Owensboro passed away August 17, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born March 5, 1954 in Owensboro to the late Layman Robinson and Clemmie McCaslin.
Barbara was a devoted homemaker and a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. She loved life and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Barbara loved being out, shopping and never met a stranger.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everette Lindsey in 1993.
She is survived by a son, David Ward (Laurie) and a daughter, Cheri West (Chuck) all of Owensboro; a brother, Johnnie Noel (Gwyn) of Russellville, KY; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2PM Monday August 22 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until 2 PM on Monday. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the family of Barbara Lindsey c/o Cheri West.
