Barbara Ann Lashbrook

Barbara Ann Lashbrook, 65, of Dundee died Thursday, May 16, 2002 at her home. She was born in Daviess County on January 5, 1937 the daughter of Albert and Anna Hinsey Goetz.

She retired from Ohio County High School after 18 years as a cafeteria worker and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fordsville. She enjoyed sewing, square dancing, flower gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, James Lashbrook, Jr. and Brian Lashbrook, both of Owensboro, and Greg Lashbrook of Reynolds Station; a daughter, Karen Lasher of Hawesville; five grandchildren; three brothers, Herman Goetz, Marvin Goetz and Michael Goetz, all of Owensboro; four sisters, Loretta Johnston, Frances Gaddis and Linda Powers, all of Owensboro, and Eileen Fulkerson of Magan; several nephews and nieces; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2002 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, officiated by Father Greg Trawick, Father Joe ODonnell and Father Richard Powers. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2002 and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
