Barbara Fay Embry

Barbara Fay Embry, 67, of 405 Lisbon Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was a Daviess County native born to Robert and Evelyn Murphy Camp on October 13, 1935. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church where she worked with youth, childrens Sunday School, G.A.s, Vacation Bible School, and was a Nursery Director for many years. She was a homemaker who loved her family.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Artie Embry of Owensboro; one son & daughter-in-law, Bruce & Tammy Embry of Livermore; one daughter, Sandra Benedict of Owensboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Camp and Robert Camp both of Habit; two sisters, Carolyn Stiff of Thruston and Nancy Gordon of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
