Barbara Ann Edwards

Barbara Ann Evans Edwards, 67, of Owensboro, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. and was retired from the General Electric Co. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, loved to quilt and spend time with her granddaughters. She was the daughter of the late Henry L. & Leanora Payne. She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Shirley E. Evans in May of 1974 and her sister, Marilyn Payne in 1954.
Surviving is her former husband, Robert G. Edwards of Owensboro, a daughter, Paula Evans Trogden, and 2 Granddaughters, DeAnna & Amanda Trogden, all of Owensboro, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, David G. & Becky Payne and James G. & Sue Payne, all of Owensboro, 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida & Paul Basham of Louisville, Wanda & George Kauffeld of Elizabethtown, Ky. and Paula Elaine & Dan Taul of Owensboro.

Services will be Wednesday, July 30, at 12 Noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial following in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Peace Mission for Children, P. O. Box 23108, Owensboro, Ky. 42304-3108.
