Barbara J. Conder

Barbara Jean Conder, 78, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her home. Ms. Conder was born August 17, 1938 in Muhlenburg County to the late Luther and Flora Driscoll McGinley. Barbara loved being with her children and grandchildren. She had worked as a waitress at the Holiday Inn and then the Executive Inn. Barbara had a special place in her heart for her two dogs, Chichi and Chaz. She was never known to complain even after becoming ill and always put other people first.

Ms. Conder was preceded in death by two brothers, Den and Jimmy McGinley and two sisters, Betty Whitney and Gelita Harper.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Vicki Stinnett and husband Tony, Sharon Huff and husband Rick, and Charlotte Collins and husband Milton all of Owensboro; brother, Dunny McGinley of Hermitage, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren, Britney Owens, Derrick Aull, April Aull, William Phelps, Jeremy Wheeler, Robin Brown, Bridgett Brown, Joe Huff, Jeremiah Collins, Jamie Hurst, Tony Pullin, Jason Huff, and Erika Huff; 35 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The service will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Bob Eden officiating. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
