Barbara Sue Bowley

Barbara Sue (Aud) Bowley, 80, went to be with her Lord on February 17, 2014. Barbara worked as a CNA at Hillcrest Nursing Home for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Joyce Helm, Brenda and Marc Egan, Beverly and Danny Proctor, Bonita and Byron Day, her son, Thomas Edward Bowley, Jr., granddaughter, Christy Russell, sisters, Doreen Aud, and Mary Jane Freels, brother, Jospeh Bernard (Bunny) Aud, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and her best friend, Dora Evans.

Barbara was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas Edward Bowley, brothers, Earl Aud, Mike Aud, Frances (Buck) Aud, and Thomas Sherman Aud. sisters, Mary Elizabeth Lanham, Lillie Mae Smith, her mother, Mary Leona Aud, father, William Harles Aud and grandsons Michael Thomas Hatfield and Dan Clint Hayden, Jr.

A funeral mass will be at noon on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Precious Blood Catholic Church with Father Bruce McCarty presiding. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4 to 8 PM with prayers at 5 PM and Friday after 9 AM at Glenn Funeral Home & Crematory.
