Barbara Jane Boehmann

April 24, 1940 — January 5, 2005

Barbara J. Boehmann, 64, of 7940 Ky. 405, Maceo, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Hancock Co., Ky. To the late Iva & Mary Dorothy Mattingly Cambron. She was retired from the Briarpatch Restaurant after 23 years. She was of the Baptist faith, but had been attending St. Pius X Catholic Church with her husband. She was a member of the Lewisport Early Bird Homemakers Club, and enjoyed playing bunco, flower gardening, and spending time with her family, especially at cookouts.

Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Jerry A. Boehmann, two daughters and their husbands, Debbie & Phillip Castlen and Jennifer & Dwayne Higdon, all of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Nikki, Matt, Stephanie, & Emily Castlen, and Tyler, Jessica, & Katie Higdon, 13 brothers & sisters and their spouses, Robert Lee & Connie Cambron, Clyde & Anita Cambron, Jimmy & Ann Cambron, Bertha Finney, Pauline & Everett Roberts, Maggie & Wayne Craig, and Mary Ann & Larry Hubbard, all of Lewisport, Ky., Charles & Eva Cameron, and Edith & Terry Bennett, all of Maceo, Joe & Debra Cambron of Milton, Fla., Libby Kelly of Nicholasville, Ky., Grace Rafferty of Owensboro, and Brenda & June Brown of Hawesville, 31 nieces & nephews, 50 great nieces & nephews, and 16 great great nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 8, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in St. Anthony Cemetery at Browns Valley. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 8:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Memorial Fund, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, Ky. 40502.
