Auvel H. Drochter

Auvel H. "Mike" Drochter, 94, of 5058 Backsquare Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Oscar & Annie Drochter. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and was retired from Green River Steel as a tool & die maker. He was also a member of the Green River Steel Retirees group, and enjoyed fishing & playing cards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Drochter on Nov. 3, 1998.

Surviving is a son and his wife, Kenneth & Alice Drochter of Owensboro, two daughters and their husbands, Martha & Robert Riney of Owensboro and Mary & Albert Osborne of Escondido, Ca., and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Dec. 13, at St. Martin Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday with prayers at 5:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home.
