Ashly Marie Simmons Crisp

Ashly Marie Simmons Crisp, 34, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully July 9, 2018, at her home. She was born September 3, 1983 in Daviess County to Jerry and Nancy Hayden Simmons. Ashly was a faithful woman who was most known for being a caring mom and loving wife. She enjoyed being around her family and always looking out for them. Ashly fought a long, hard battle with cancer for four years, and all who knew Ashly will remember her for her unwavering strength.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Martha Hayden; as well as her paternal grandparents, Huston and Catherine Simmons.

Ashly is survived by her husband of six years, Aaron Crisp; her children, Adalyn Marie and Abigail Mae; her parents, Jerry and Nancy Hayden Simmons; her mother in law, Jill Hinton; father in law, Scott (Vickie) Crisp; sisters, Beth (Nick) Miles, Carrie (Andrew) Osborne, and Kelly (Jake) Heaton; brother, Jason (Tinesha) Simmons; a very special aunt, Faye Gardener; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The memorial service will be 4 PM Sunday July 15, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Father Anthoni Ottagan and Father Tony Jones officiating. Visitation will also take place on Sunday from 12:30 PM till 3:30 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
