Ashley Lynne Anthony, 35, of Owensboro, passed away July 5, 2019, at her home. She was born July 20, 1983 to Barrett and Rebecca Johnston Bowman. Her children and her family were her world, and they will each miss her very much. She graduated from Apollo High School in 2001 and went on to further her education at the University of Louisville and Owensboro Community College, where she attained several degrees. Ashley worked as a vet tech and loved all animals; she even appeared on an episode of Bandit Patrol. She has a special place in her heart for each of her dogs, Ellie Mae, Phoebe, Karma, Camo, Muzzy, Sadie Mae, and Sadie B.
Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Frank Johnston Sr.; paternal grandfather, Robert Bowman; and a cousin, Victoria Johnston.
She is survived by her husband of 4 years, Joe Anthony; her two sons, Riley and Jacob Turner; maternal grandmother, Mary Loretta Johnston; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Bowman; Aunts and Uncles, Frank and Amy Johnston and Keith and Fran Limbach; and many cousins.
The funeral service will be 6pm Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with Fr. Mark Buckner officiating. Visitation will be from 2pm until 6pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
