Mr . Arthur E. Buck Tyro, 93 of Owensboro, died Saturday, March 13, 2004 at his home. He was born March 10, 1911 in Ohio County. He retired from Inland Container Corporation of Evansville, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Frances Sims Tyro, two stepsons, Gilbert Sims and wife Mary Ann, Robert Sims and wife Frances Boone Sims, two stepdaughters, Martha Sims Evans and husband Mick Evans, and Joan Sims Bradshaw and husband Garland Bradshaw, several step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, neices and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Sorgho. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice Association Incorporated.
