Arthur Joe Ambs

Arthur Joe Ambs Sr., 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 24, 1952, in Owensboro to the late Joe Lee Ambs and Katharine Cook Ambs. Arthur served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Titan where he was a foreman and a welder. Arthur loved old cars and motorcycles, especially his Harley-Davidson. He and his wife, Patricia, were members of Owensboro Christian Church and loved the Lord very much.

In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Cundiff; and his wife of 40 years, Patricia Ambs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Suszan Hendley; a son, Arthur Joe Ambs JR; granddaughters, Taylor Cundiff, Amber Cundiff, Trinity Cundiff and Olivia Ambs; grandsons, William Payne, Alec Payne, and Lucas Hendley; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gena (Skip) Richardson; a brother, Larry (Ann) Ambs; and his four-legged companion, Audie Joe.
