April Lynn Davis

April Lynn Davis, 45, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her home. She was born on October 14, 1967 in Daviess Co., KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church. April enjoyed shopping, traveling, swimming, and she especially loved going to her church and playing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Davis on November 27, 2008 and her mother, Carolyn McDaniel in 2012.

She is survived by her children, Raven Haire and husband Nathan, Tyler Purcell and fianc Jena Wilkerson, and Ashley Causey and husband Johnathon, all of Owensboro, three grandchildren, Parker Haire, Gabriel Causey, and Grayson Savage, her father, Stanley McDaniel of Owensboro, three sisters, Paige Roby, Karen Crowe, and Keishie McDaniel, all of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 9 in Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with burial following. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no visitation on Wednesday.
