Anthony Ray Renfrow

Anthony Ray, ''Tony'' Renfrow, 53 of Owensboro, died at his home Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, December 21, 1957 to Edward Lee Renfrow and Frances Lorene (Wingfield) Apman. He was employed by Thompson Homes of Owensboro. Tony enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, was a fan of Dale Ernhardt, and loved his dog Sammy who was his best fishing buddy. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone laugh. His father Edward, a brother, James, and grandparents, Henry and Mary Renfrow, and Alvey Wingfield preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Chad Renfrow of Evansville, his wife of 26 years, Vana Renfrow, a step-daughter Leslie (Nick) Frazier of Evansville, his mother, Frances Lorene Apman and grandmother, Ruth Wingfield of Owensboro, brothers, Jeffrey Allen Renfrow of Owensboro, Timothy (Valori) Renfrow of Phoenix, AZ., sisters Mary (Billy) Layman and Darlene (Randy) Peay of Owensboro, and Patricia Aull of Henderson, KY., several aunts, uncles nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. John Morris officiating. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Friday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
