Anthony "Tony" Peterson

Anthony “Tony” Peterson, 55, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday January 12, 2025. He was born September 25, 1969 in Daviess County to the late Lewis and Mary Moman Peterson. Tony had worked as a cook in a number of restaurants including B. J.’s Diner and Pizza Hut and also had worked at Hunter-Douglas and Packaging Unlimited. He enjoyed watching Crime Dramas on television and shooting pool. Tony had been a member of the Eagles and the Am Vets. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Morris and a niece, Lorie Carter.

 Surviving are a sister, Kimberly McCampbell and a brother, Brock Peterson and wife Shelly, all of Owensboro; nieces and nephews, Britnee Murphy of Miami, Florida, Mikalis Ioakimides and fiancé Kelsey Ruth of Owensboro, JonTae Green of Louisville, and Jordan Morris of Bowling Green; great niece, Amira Lindsey of Owensboro; cousin, Jeffie Hawes and husband David of Owensboro; and his best friend, Joseph Lindsey of Owensboro.

 Funeral services will be 4 PM Sunday, January 19 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
