Anthony J. Keller

Anthony J. "Tony" Keller, 67, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Western KY. He was born August 2, 1947 in Daviess Co. to the late Emmett Joseph and Anna Lee English Keller. Tony was a Journeyman and Master Plumber having worked in the family business, Keller Plumbing and Heating. After the closing of their business, he worked for Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Owensboro City School System, and M.P.D. He then worked for Acme Plumbing and Heating until he retired. Tony was a U. S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was a 1966 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School, and had attended Owensboro Business College , and Murray State University. Tony was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and was a member of the local plumbing association. In his leisure, he enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his wife, collecting Case knives, and was an avid U.K. basketball fan. He also enjoyed playing on his computer, going to flea markets, and most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Emmett Keller, Jr. and a son-in-law, Neal Noffsinger in January of 2012.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sylvia Keller, three daughters, Michelle Bryant and husband Milton of Bono, Arkansas, Denise Long and husband Lance of Lexington, and Amy Noffsinger of Owensboro, five grandchildren, Kaley Payne, Kasey and Jaxon Noffsinger, and Emma and Larissa Long, a sister, Charlotte Massey and husband Harold of Florida, and a brother, David Keller and wife Misty of Utica.

Services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, March 4, at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery with full military honors.. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday with prayers at 6:30 and after 8:00 A.M. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
