Anthony (Tony) Lewis Gaddis, 52, of Owensboro went to be with our Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born on July 7, 1961, in Chicago Illinois, the son of the late James R. Gaddis and Annie Gaddis Armendarez.
Tony was a Christian and worked many years in the health care field as a Certified Nurse Aide in Kentucky and Florida. He enjoyed boating, swimming and fishing and loved spending time with family and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Robert Roy.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Gaddis (Phil) Armendarez; six sisters, Deborah Gaddis, Sandra (Danny) Bennett, Theresa Gaddis, all of Owensboro, Beverly Cousineau of Peotone, Illinois, Linda (Jim) Tinsley of Hopkinsville, KY and Brenda Joyce (Bobby) Boren of Trigg County, KY; a brother, Johnny David Gaddis of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services are planned for Monday, April 21, 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro, Kentucky. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and will continue until the funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
