Anthony J. Cox

Anthony J. "Tony" Cox Jr. 60, of Owensboro, went to be with the lord November 30, 2014. He was born July 1, 1954 the first born son of Anthony J. "Tony" and Margaret "Skipper" Gaw Cox.

After attending Immaculate School, Tony graduated from Owensboro High School in 1972. He then went to Brescia College. Most of his life, Tony was self-employed. Some of his businesses were in real estate and flea markets in 3 states. Before returning to Owensboro for medical treatment, he lived on Lake Barkley near Cadiz, Ky.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Craig Cox of Owensboro; sisters, Lemoine Amos (Keith) of Maitland , FL., Vicki Cox of Owensboro, and Kay Norris (Jim) of McDaniels, Ky.; nephew, Mark Lewis of Owensboro, and niece, Cassie Norris of Lexington, Ky.

A Memorial Service will be 2pm, Saturday, December 6, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11am Saturday.

Tony's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Heartford House for the excellent care provided during Tony's stay there.
