Annie Early Clark Cooper

April 3, 1921 — August 4, 2006

Annie Early Clark Cooper, 85, of Maceo, went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 4, 2006. Meeting her there were her first husband, Beverly B. Clark and her second husband, Delbert Cooper, a twin sister, Nannie Ray, and many other family members and friends. She was born April 3, 1921 to the late Harrison and Alice Board Early in Hancock County. A devoted member of the Maceo Baptist Church, she took pride in her yard, flowers and always had a spotless house.

She was a loving mother to Beverly Gene Clark and his wife, Jeanie of Owensboro, Steve Gordon Clark of Florida, and Alice Diann Crask and her husband, Marvin of Hawesville. An adoring Mammaw to Patty, Ramon, and Tracy Clark, Lisa and Mike Cooper, Trish and Scott McCormick, Eric Roach and Britney, Susan and Tim Corder, Karen and John Beaver; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, some of whom came into her wonderful life by way of re-marriages, family, just the same, Mammaw Clark to all. Her sister, Edith Payne of Owensboro, sister-in-law and best friend, Kathryn Clark, special neighbors, Peggy and Bobby Marsh.

Services will be 2:30 PM Monday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Kelly Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday and after 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maceo Baptist Church, because Mom believed that flowers should be given in life, but even better, give someone a HUG in her memory.
