Anneliese Goetz

Anneliese Goetz, 91, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at her home. She was born on December 17, 1922 in Mannheim-Feudenheim, Germany to the late Heinrich and Katherina Sickmann Mohr. She was retired after 28 years as a clerk with the Kroger Co. Anneliese enjoyed playing the piano and keyboard, baking, and working crossword and fill-in puzzles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Goetz on September 6, 2007.

Surviving are her son and his wife, Thomas E. and Kathy Goetz of Rockport, IN, several nieces and nephews, and special caregivers, Roy and Kathy Leonard and Linda Patterson, all of Owensboro.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
