Anna Mabel Wilcox

Anna Mabel Annie Wilcox. 83, formerly of 3101 Brent Gray Trace, Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday Dec. 6, 2006 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born in McLean Co., Ky. to the late Roscoe & Lillian Edwards. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church. She was a very devout Christian and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and the outdoors. She was also preceded in death by three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clarence Tom Wilcox, a son and his wife, Tom & Kathy Wilcox of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., three grandchildren, Ginger Leigh & husband Marcus Schnepp, and Meredith Michelle & husband Zach Gabbert, all of Owensboro and Lindsay Sheffield of Atlanta, Ga., and three great grandchildren, Chelsea McKinnon, Gracen Gabbert, and Emilee Gabbert, all of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
