Throughout her life, Anna Ruth embodied the virtues of devotion and care, dedicating herself to her family and home with a steadfast spirit. As a homemaker, she excelled in creating a nurturing environment filled with warmth and comfort. Her talents were many and varied; Anna Ruth was an amazing cook whose meals brought family and friends together around the table. Anna Ruth’s passion for her garden was well known to all who visited her. She nurtured a grand garden, tending her flowers with care and patience. Her love for horticulture was matched by her enjoyment of canning the fruits of her labor, preserving the harvest to be savored throughout the year. Another endearing facet of her personality was her fondness for cardinals—she loved these vibrant birds and surrounded herself with cardinal-themed items that reflected her affection for them.

A devoted fan of Notre Dame football, Anna Ruth found joy in supporting the team. Beyond her hobbies and interests, what truly defined her was her role as a mother.
