Anna Sue Fulkerson Lanham

Anna Sue Granny Sue Fulkerson Lanham, 86, formally of Knottsville went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 7, 2007. She was born February 9, 1920 in Daviess County to the late Ligora and Bertha Fulkerson and was a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. Mrs. Lanham had worked at GE, Newberrys, Hancock Fabric and she retried from K-Mart. She enjoyed playing cards, bunco, bingo, quilting at Maceo homemakers and Blessed Mother. Sue loved to cook and share her wonderful cakes and pies with family and friends. We love you Mom and we will miss you.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Joseph Buck Lanham. Her sons, Joseph Jerry Lanham in 1999 of Fort Myers, FL, Bill Lanham in 2006 of Norcross, GA, a son-in-law James Smokey Gilles in 1996 of Owensboro.

Sue will be sadly missed by her children Dennie Lanham of St. Augustine, FL, Janice Gilles, Jim Lanham both of Owensboro, Connie Case and her husband Mike of Yelvington; a daughter-in-law, Renee Lanham of Norcross, GA. Her nine grandchildren, Shawn Lanham, Travis Lanham, Bridget Stewart, Misty Case Buskill, Nicole Case Shores, Devon Lanham, Landy Lanham, Amber Lanham and Deanna Lanham and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving, three brothers, L. B. Fulkerson and his wife Dorothy or Rockport, IN, Sam Fulkerson and his wife Toostie, Stanley Fulkerson and his wife Doris both of Knottsville; four sister-in laws, Margaret Jane Bowlds of Rockport, IN, Kathleen Fulkerson of Largo, FL, Marie Fulkerson of Knottsville and Emily Fulkerson of Utica.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10th at Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from Friday, February 9th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. and also after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home.
