Anna Lillian Lambert

Lillian Lambert, 81, of 8160 Texas Gas Road, Philpot, Ky., passed away on Wednseday, February 2, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. to the late Hosie & Eula Gossett Gish. She was a homemaker and a member of the Karns Grove Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Women's Sunday School Class. She enjoyed raising flowers, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and going to the Whitesville Senior Center. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clayborne Lambert on Jan. 23, 1987, a daughter, Brenda L. Skaggs in May of 2001, and a son, Billy Wayne Lambert on Dec. 3, 1946.

Surviving is four sons and their wives, David & Debbie Lambert and Terry & Penny Lambert, all of Philpot, and Clay & Lisa Lambert and Jimmy & Kateri Lambert, all of Whitesville, and a daughter and her husband, Clara & Ron Shreve of Hopkinsville, a brother, Roy Gish of Lake Station, In., and two sisters, Doy Davis and Irma Markwell, both of Bremen, 11 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, at Karns Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Milburn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home.
