Anna Theresa Drury Klein

Anna Theresa Drury Klein, 82, of Owensboro died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Carmel Home. Anna was born in Daviess County to the late Archie Joseph and Margaret Genevieve (Stuart) Drury Sr. She graduated from St. Francis Academy and Owensboro Daviess County Hospital LPN School and retired from Mercy Hospital and Owensboro Daviess County Hospitals in November of 1985. She was a member of Alpha Omega Sorority and Immaculate Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Tong Sr. in 1973, and James C. Klein in 2007, as well as sons, Stephen Jude Tong and William Klein, a great-grandson, Ray Edward Newcom, siblings, Arch Drury Jr., Fred Drury, Charlotte Hayden, Beverly Drury and Anthony Drury.
Surviving are her children; Edward C. "Neal" (Terri Ann) Tong of Owensboro, Gary (Barbara) Foster of Batesville, Indiana, Cindy Ann Tong of Owensboro, Teri Marie Tong (Gary) Newcom of Pasadena, Maryland, Tonya Klein of Orlando, Florida, and Carrie Sue Alsbrooks of Henderson, Kentucky, a brother, John Michael Drury of Louisville, Kentucky, sisters; Mary Margaret Drury of Owensboro, Rosalia Drury Maddery of Atlanta, Georgia, and Emily Drury Winterson of Duxbury, MA., 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Jones officiating. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
