Anna Jean Foster

Anna Jean Foster, 77, of 3760 Medley Road, Owensboto, died Monday, November 25, 2002 at her home.

The Owensboro native was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. She was also a founding member of the P.U. Band, a member of the Hospital Guild, and had been an active volunteer with the Salvation Army and a member of the Cotillion Club.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, B.J. Foster, a son, Joe Foster of Owensboro, a daughter, Clay Penland of Atlanta, two sisters, Martha Quisenberry of Owensboro and Helen Bennett of Franklin, Kentucky and three grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation is from 2 until 7 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home. Espressions of sympathy mey take the form of contributions to the Salvation Army. Online messages of condolence may be placed at www.glennfuneralhome.com
