Anna Sharp Ditto

December 6, 1922 — June 18, 2002

Anna Sharp Ditto of Philpot died Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at her home. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky on December 6, 1922 the daughter of Gus and Rosa Ambrose Sharp. Her husband, William Harold Ditto, preceded her in death on September 3, 1985.

Mrs. Ditto retired from General Electric Company after 41 years and was a member of Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church and Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed sports, fishing, yard work, gardening, attending church and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, William Ray Billy Ditto of Owensboro; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; four sisters, Opal Fields of Elgin, IL, Edith Dimple King and Thelma S. Aud, both of Owensboro, and Joyce Tichenor of College Park, GA; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Robert Young. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Expression of sympathy may take the form of donations to Grace Chapel Pentecostal Church, 6320 Old Kentucky 54, Philpot, KY 42366.
