Ann M. Potts

Ann Potts, 96 , born on October 17, 1917 in Daviess Co., KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2014. She resided with her brother, Robert and his family until her death. Ann worked at General Electric as an Executive Secretary and received a pin for 50 years service and then worked several more years after that. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church here where she led Sunday School; for several years. Ann loved to travel and was a worldwide traveler and a wonderful cook.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Hazelrigg and George Potts; her brothers, William (wife Flossie deceased), Kenneth (wife Gertrude surviving), and Wendell (wife Barbara surviving),

She is survived by her brothers, Robert (wife Pat) and Harold (wife Violet deceased), and her sister Myrtle Tinius (husband Harold deceased). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Steve, Keith, Tommy, and Chris (sons of Robert, Larry Tinius and Sheryl Stevens (children of Myrtle), Janet, Brad, Richie, Kenny, and Anita (children of William), Marcella, Mark, and Terry, (children of Kenneth), Gail, Tim, Craig, and Lisa (children of Wendell) Donna, Gary, Allen, Connie, Angie, and Darlene (deceased), (children of Harold).

Services will be 1:00 P. M. Thursday, January 16, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
