Anita Lynn Thomasson

Anita Lynn Thomasson, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, July 4 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born in Daviess County to the late Marvin Edward and Audrey Barnett Sutherlin.

Anita was a graduate of Calhoun High School. She was a devout Christian and devoted homemaker who enjoyed traveling and spending time with family-especially her grandchildren.

Anita is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Thomasson; children, Crystal Thomasson, Annetta Thomasson and Bryan Thomasson (Madison); eight grandchildren; and a sister, Ada Kathy Dame.

A celebration of Anita’s life will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday, July 12 at Utica Baptist Church.
