Angela Marie Sanders

Angela Marie Sanders, 54, of Owensboro, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born April 1, 1955 to the late Herbert and Dorothy Sue McManus Hurt in Paducah, KY. She had worked in restaurants, was a Baptist and she enjoyed crocheting and watching movies.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Carrie Lynn VanMeter and Stephanie Renee VanMeter, and a brother, Michael Hurt.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Sanders; her daughter, Christina Marie Hocker, and her son, Keith VanMeter, both of Owensboro; her grandchildren, Kirsty Leche Hocker, David Blaize Hocker, Stephanie Lynn VanMeter, Kaitlynn Renea VanMeter and Brooklynn Nicole VanMeter; a half-sister, Kimberly Marie Wyatt of Murray, KY.

Services and visitation will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
