Angela Mireles, 51, of Owensboro, passed away January 14, 2026. She was born December 16, 1974, to Roy, Sr. and Vickie Estes.
A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Angela never missed a chance to cheer on her team, proudly wearing black and gold and sharing her enthusiasm with anyone nearby. Part of her daily ritual included stopping for a fountain drink. Something small, but unmistakably Angela.
She found joy in the sounds of country music, often letting it fill her space while she worked on one of her favorite passions: creating scrapbook albums. Through photos, notes, and careful detail, Angela preserved moments that mattered most, turning everyday memories into lasting keepsakes.
Above all else, Angela loved her family. They were the center of her world, the reason behind her laughter, her creativity, and her strength. Her love was steady, genuine, and something that will continue to be felt by all who knew her.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Roy Estes, Sr.; brother, Roy Estes, Jr.; sister, Tula Estes and grandparents, Marcus and Annie Poole.
She is survived by her husband, Dionicio Mireles; mother, Vickie Poole (Ismael) Mireles; children, Nicholas O’Neal, Lamon O’Neal (Brittany Murphy) and Jay O’Neal (Da’Shur Parm); brothers, Josh Estes, Truman (Rebecca) Estes, and Kenny Ray (Maicie) Estes; grandchildren, Izaiah Parm-O’Neal, Jay’Lachi Parm-O’Neal, and Ja’Veah O’Neal, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 12:00 Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Iron Ore Hill Cemetery.
