Angela Fay Lemke

Angela Fay "Angie" Lemke, 32 of Creek Harbor Court, Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at her home. She was born April 7, 1979 in Daviess County a graduate of Apollo High School, a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church, and Daughters of the Nile. Angie loved being around people, family get togethers, loved dogs, and had a smile no one could forget. She loved her group home, CaKy's.
Angie is survived by her parents, David and Shirley (Curry) Lemke, a brother, David Lemke, all of Owensboro, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, a special friend, her housemate, Beth Wolfe, and special staff caregiver, Darlene Edmonds.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Revs. Timo Karvornen, and Tom Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Building Fund at Wesleyan United Methodist Church or to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
