Andrea Nicole Adams Sweeney, 23, of 1011 East 21st Street, Owensboro, Ky., died September 9, 2003 at University Hospital in Louisville. The Owensboro native was a homemaker, and enjoyed playing with her children. She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bert Aaron Sweeney, sons, Tyler Aaron Sweeney, Blake Alexander Sweeney, and daughter, Kayla Nicole Sweeney,all of Owensboro, her parents, Philip Roger and Mary Ann Adams of Philpot, brothers, Philip Mark Adams and wife Lynn, of Auburton, TN, and Steven Anthony Adams, and wife, Denise, of Knottsville, sisters, Paula Lorain Robinson, and husband Keith of Owensboro, and Karen Angela Nelson and husband Donnie, of Masonville,, nieces, Taylor Danielle Robinson, Catie Lea Adams, Jessica Marie Adams, Erica Nicole Adams, Brittany Michelle Nelson, MaKenzie Ray Nelson, nephews,Logan Alexander Robinson, Chase Martin Robinson, Nicolas Allen Adams, and Ryan Anthony Adams, parents-in-law, Larry and Dorothy Sweeney of Hodgenville, Ky.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Catholic Church, with burial in St. William Cemetery in Knottsville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home, and after 12 noon Friday. Prayers will be at 5 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Andrea Sweeney Children, Education Fund, c/o BB&T Bank, at any branch.
