Amy Mae Thompson Neubauer

January 23, 1929 — December 19, 2004

Amy Mae Thompson Neubauer, 75, of Owensboro died Sunday, December 19, 2004 at her home. Born January 23, 1929 to the late Emmitt and Clara Morris Thompson, Mrs. Neubauer was a homemaker and member of Third Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered for her desire to help other people, and her love of the outdoors and animals. Mrs. Neubauer was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred L. Neubauer, Sr. in 1983 and a sister, Lucille Peak in 2001.

She is survived by two sons, Eldred L. Neubauer, Jr. and George Neubauer both of Owensboro; two daughters, Gayla Freer of Reynolds Station and Nancy Hume of Danville, IN; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Gene Thompson of Robinson, IL and Tilford Thompson of Pleasant Ridge.

Funeral services are 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M. on Monday and after 10 A.M. on Tuesday.
