Amogene Robertson Osborne

Amogene "Jean" Robertson Osborne, 94, passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 in Monticello, FL. Born July 10, 1914 in Daviess County, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Martin Robertson; was a sales clerk and had worked at McAtees Department Store; and was a member of First Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Hugh Osborne, a sister, Freda Cole; and two brothers, Rufus and Durwood Robertson.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy (John) Thrasher of Monticello; granddaughters, Lisa (Don) Lunn and Joy Murphy of Tallahassee; great-grandsons, Chance and Zack Lunn of Tallahassee; and a brother, Jim Robertson of Raleigh, NC.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Noffsinger officiating. Entombment will follow.
