Ambrose E. Dargan Settles

Ambrose E. Dargan Settles, 81, of Owensboro, passed away Monday May 17, 2016. Born December 4, 1934 to the late Charles Joseph and Irene Settles, Ambrose was of the Catholic faith.
Ambrose worked the majority of his years with Har-Ken Oil Company as Production superintendent, and continued his love for farming until he was no longer able.

Ambrose is preceded in death by his first wife, Jawaun Brown Settles and a brother, Charles E. Settles.

Survivors include his sons, E. Dargan Settles and Darwyn Settles; grandchildren, Laurie Diane Pruden, Kyle Ambrose Settles, and Chase William Settles; sister, Shirley Ann Zogleman and her husband Gene; brothers, Marvin E. Settles and Robert E. Settles.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Pat Reynolds officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
