Ambia LaShawn Johnson “Boss Diva”, age 45, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 1, 2025. She was born on November 29, 1979, in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Ambia was a proud graduate of Ahrens High School and a devoted member of Fifth Street Baptist Church, both located in Louisville. She was known for her strong spirit, her radiant smile, and the love she so freely shared with everyone around her. Ambia enjoyed spending time with her children and family, watching movies, and shopping—simple pleasures that reflected her vibrant personality and caring heart.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Amanda Porter, and Sidney and Mary Lou Webster.
Ambia leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Herman Ann Brodie; her father, Greg Webster (Willie Davis); and her bonus dad, Nathaniel Wilson (Mary). She is also survived by her beloved children: Jalen Brittain, Johnathon Brittain, and Calvin Porter; Amiya Brittain and A’Caedence Johnson; and her adored grandchildren, Kamari Brittain, Jorian Brittain, and D’Auni Vaughn.
She is further survived by her sisters, Devon Webster, Tena Wilson, Nathea Porter, Aisha Riley, and Mi’Randa Payne; her brother, Ryan Morton (Mary); along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Ambia’s memory will forever remain a light to all who knew and loved her.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
