Amanda L. (Granny) Clark, 81, of 666 Fargo Street, Owensboro, died Monday August 5, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born April 11, 1921 in Daviess County, Kentucky the daughter of Ezra & Thelma OBannon Wilson. Her husband, William R. Clark, preceded her in death on November 10, 1977.

Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include 2 sons, Lyndell Clark of Utica and Robert L. Clark of Vallejo, CA; five daughters, Judy Benson and Peggy Eans, both of Owensboro, Becky Johnson and Shirley Oliver, both of Ensor, and Sandy Conrad of Ethel, LA; one brother, Charles W. Wilson of Owensboro and one sister, Nina Midkiff of Owensboro.

She is survived by 26 Grandchildren, Marsha Chapman, Jeff Benson, Byron Benson, Ronnie Oliver, Scott Oliver, Lori Morrison, Amanda Jennings, Wendy Burden, Kelly Embry, Lyndell Clark, Kevin Eans, Greg Eans, Kris Eans, Robert Todd Clark, Jennifer McNeely, Jason Clark, Christi Ebelhar, Jeanette Johnson, Rhonda Henley, Andrea Wedding, Brandy Broadway, Dennis R. Conrad, II, Nicholas Conrad, Nathan Conrad, Delandra Burden & David Willis.

She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, Jill Chapman, Ryan Chapman, Luke Oliver, Kelsey Morrison, Kendall Morrison, Courtney Jennings, Lindsey Jennings, Chase Woods, Haley Woods, Landon Woods, Donnie R. Embry, Eric Clark, Zach Burden, Matthew Eans, Chassidy McNeely, Hunter McNeely, Jordan Ebelhar, Hunter Ebelhar, Madisin Ebelhar, Andrew Johnson, Kent Henley, Kristen Henley, Kameron Henley, Spencer Broadway, Madelyn Broadway, Noah Broadway, Rylan Conrad, Nick Wedding, Jarren Wedding, Annabelle Burden, Noah Burden & Loralie Burden

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Dale Rouse. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2002 and after 8:30 a.m. Friday.
